Johnson Victrola Museum Activities

Group Tours

Tours and other interpretive programs take place throughout normal operating hours. However, large groups that are interested in attending a tour must make reservations in advance by emailing the site supervisor or calling 302-739-4266.
The following topics are available for group tours:

The Wonderful Talking Machine (adults/students grades 4-8; 30 minutes) Describes the Victor Talking Machine Company, its people, music, and the evolution of recorded sound.

Johnson and the Golden Age of Music (adults/students grades 7-12; 45 minutes) Enables guests to listen to music and exchange ideas about political and social concerns referenced in period recordings.
